Originally from New York, Joi has been behind the chair since 1984 — though you’d never guess it by looking at her (she truly doesn’t look a day over 40). Joi is a hoot, smart as a whip, and one of those rare stylists who can make you laugh, educate you, and transform your hair all at once.
With over 40 years of experience in the beauty industry, Joi’s talent is matched only by her passion for learning. She’s traveled the world attending advanced education with top platform artists, constantly evolving her skills and staying ahead of trends. As a certified color artist, she’s inspired by every individual who sits in her chair, customizing each look with precision and creativity.
Her expertise spans everything from curly cuts, pixies, and precision short styles to corrective color and bold, transformative makeovers. No matter the service, Joi’s goal is always the same — to make people look and feel their best, inside and out.

Olivia Newell is a L’Oréal Professionnel Artist and partner for the international Italian brand Beautick — but don’t let the impressive résumé fool you. Known for her humor, authenticity, and ability to make anyone feel instantly comfortable, Olivia is as down to earth as she is accomplished.
She travels across the country providing education and mentorship to salons, sharing not only her technical expertise but also her passion for building supportive, growth-driven environments. Her career has taken her backstage at New York and Paris Fashion Week, on set for high-end brand campaigns, and into the pages of magazines like Vogue, yet she remains deeply rooted in humility and connection.
Olivia specializes in creating looks that are tailored specifically to each client's wants and lifestyle. From lived-in, low maintenance, effortless hair to cutting the thickest hair she is a true professional. As a Bellami certified extension specialist, she can offer ways to fill client's hair's density or add length if desired.
When she’s not making her clients laugh in the salon, Olivia is usually planning her next travel adventure, spending time with her husband and son Sullivan all while cheering on her Alma mater. Go Dawgs!
Originally from Spain, Lita brings over three decades of experience and an unmatched level of artistry to Theory Salon. After spending eight years in New York training with Vidal Sassoon, she built a foundation of precision, creativity, and excellence that continues to define her work today. Lita is not only an exceptional stylist but also the heart and mentor of the entire Theory team.
Known for her humility and grace, Lita would never brag on herself — but everyone around her will. Her talent is undeniable. As an expert in blondes and blowouts, she’s mastered the art of creating hair that looks effortless, luminous, and full of life. Her precision cutting and color techniques are second to none, and her attention to detail transforms every client experience into something extraordinary.
Certified in Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatments, Lita believes that beauty begins with healthy, touchable hair. She draws inspiration from her clients and finds fulfillment in making a genuine difference in their lives. After graduating from Paul Mitchell in 2020, Andi began her career at Theory Salon, where she quickly proved herself to be one of the most driven and dedicated stylists you’ll meet.
Known for her motivation, talent, and work ethic well beyond her years, Andi is a foil master who thrives behind the chair. You can almost always find her foiling away — focused, precise, and obsessed with achieving perfect blonding results. Her specialties include blonding, highlights, and balayage, where her perfectionism truly shines. She also holds certification in Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatments and serves as Theory’s Kérastase Ambassador, helping educate clients and stylists alike on product knowledge and hair health.
Andi is known for her blunt honesty and refreshing personality — she’ll always tell it like it is (with love, of course). Her authenticity, confidence, and dedication to her craft make her a favorite among both clients and teammates.
When she’s not in the salon, Andi loves to go shopping, attend hair shows, and travel. She’s passionate about continued education and hopes to one day begin teaching her own blonding classes. Outside of work, you can usually find her spending time with her pets or soaking up time by the water.
Born and raised right here in Woodstock, Jess brings genuine warmth, artistry, and care to everything she does behind the chair. A graduate of Chattahoochee Technical College with her Master Cosmetology License, Jess began her career working with wigs and toppers — a foundation that deepened her understanding of both precision and compassion in her craft.
Since joining Theory Salon, Jess has developed a true passion for bridal styling, updos, and lived-in color. Her talent for creating soft, romantic, and timeless bridal looks has made her a favorite among brides, while her skill with haircuts keeps her regular clients coming back for more. Known for her kind spirit, down-to-earth personality, and easy conversation, Jess makes every guest feel instantly comfortable and cared for.
Outside of the salon, Jess is deeply involved in her community — teaching children’s choir at her church, coaching her swim team, and always finding ways to pour love and encouragement into those around her. Recently engaged, she’s enjoying this exciting new chapter and loves traveling with her fiancé whenever she can.

Ryanne has been immersed in the salon industry since she was 17 years old and has spent the past two years perfecting her craft behind the chair. A graduate of Chattahoochee Technical College with a Master Cosmetologist license, Ryanne is passionate about creating beautiful, lived-in color and seamless transformations.
Outside the salon, she’s continuing her education in paralegal studies with plans to pursue a law degree in the future — proving her drive for growth extends beyond beauty. Clients love Ryanne’s thoughtful personality and her knack for deep conversations about everything from true crime to conspiracies.
Her long-term goals include becoming fully booked while advancing as both a L’Oréal Professionnel and Bellami educator. Ryanne joined Theory Salon for its unmatched education, supportive team culture, and drama-free environment — a place she proudly calls her second home.
KAREN
Salon Coordinator
Karen is the warm, friendly face that greets you the moment you walk into Theory Salon. With a background in front desk management and client relations, she keeps the salon running smoothly and ensures every guest’s experience is nothing short of exceptional.
A Creekview High School graduate, Karen has been in the beauty industry for over a year and is now preparing to take the next step in her journey — transitioning from Salon Coordinator to Salon Assistant as she begins her apprenticeship program through Theory Salon. Her passion for hair and people shines through in everything she does, and she’s especially drawn to all-over color and creative fashion shades.
Karen is as talented as she is stunning, with a personality that’s every bit as beautiful as her work ethic. She’s known for her upbeat, genuine energy and her ability to connect effortlessly with both clients and teammates.
When she’s not in the salon, Karen loves spending time with her cats, embracing her Taurus nature, and continuing to learn everything she can about the industry. Her five-year plan includes becoming a licensed stylist and building a career rooted in artistry, growth, and connection.

A junior at River Ridge High School, Gabby is currently earning her apprenticeship license and gaining hands-on experience in the salon — all while balancing school and her growing career in the beauty industry.
Known for her spunky personality, quick humor, and down-to-earth nature, Gabby brings incredible energy and positivity to the salon every day. Whether she’s assisting stylists, greeting guests, or helping keep everything running smoothly, she gives her all to every task with professionalism and pride.
Her work ethic and passion for learning are undeniable, and her future in the industry is already shining bright. In the next few years, Gabby plans to graduate high school, obtain her cosmetology license, and pursue a business degree — combining her love for hair with her entrepreneurial spirit.

Meet Caitlin, one of the newest members of the Theory Salon team! Caitlin is a passionate stylist who loves helping people feel confident and beautiful through their hair. Whether it’s a fresh cut, a dimensional color, or a subtle change that makes a big impact, she takes pride in creating looks that make her clients light up.
Her friendly personality and love for connection make every appointment feel comfortable and easy. Caitlin’s goal is simple — to listen, understand, and bring each client’s vision to life while helping them maintain healthy, gorgeous hair.
Outside of the salon, Caitlin enjoys spending time with friends, exploring new places, and finding inspiration in everyday life. She’s thrilled to be part of the Theory family and can’t wait to start growing her clientele and creativity here.

Kayla chose Theory Salon for its inspiring, education-driven environment and the opportunity to grow within a creative, supportive team. She’s passionate about continuously learning new techniques and helping her clients express their individuality through their hair.
Outside of the salon, Kayla’s creativity and curiosity shine just as bright — she’s performed in a Broadway show, plays three instruments, and loves spending time outdoors hiking and exploring. Her five-year goals include growing her clientele family, owning a home, and traveling the world — all while continuing to create great hair and meaningful relationships.

Emily is a stylist with a creative edge and a love for all things artistic. After completing her education at Paul Mitchell Esani in 2023, she quickly stepped behind the chair and began her professional career.
With a love for highlights, Emily combines an artistic touch to create custom, dimensional color that enhances each client’s individuality.
While she’s not a fan of pixie cuts, she’s passionate about mastering techniques that bring confidence and radiance to her guests.
A natural artist at heart, Emily loves to draw in her free time and has a deep love for animals — both of which inspire her creativity in the salon. Her vibe is effortlessly cool yet approachable, making every appointment feel comfortable, fun, and uniquely personalized.

With deep roots in Cherokee County, Kristy brings over a decade of experience in customer service to her role at Theory. Known for her friendly demeaner adn organizational skills, she takes pride in creating a seamless, welcome experience for every client. From scheduling appointments to answering questions, Kristy ensures that every interaction is handled with care. Outside of the salon, she enjoys dancing and flexing her trivia knowledge.

Salon Assistant
Hannah has been in the beauty industry since 2023. Her passion for creating confidence and connection through hairstyling shines in everything she does. Currently completing her apprenticeship at Theory Salon, Hannah’s favorite part of the craft is styling — especially working with brunettes, bright reds, and vivid tones. Known for her warm personality and positive energy, Hannah lives by her faith and spreads love and encouragement to everyone she meets.
Hannah aims to continue her education by mastering extensions and advanced updo techniques for weddings and special occasions. She chose to join Theory because of its supportive, education-driven culture and the uplifting environment created by the team.

Originally from Florida, Nisa has been part of the Theory Salon team since 2020 and has grown into one of our most grounded and detail-oriented stylists. She’s a bit more reserved at first, but once you get to know her, you’ll see just how thoughtful, funny, and passionate she truly is.
Nisa specializes in balayage, lived-in color, and recently starting to learn Bellami hair extensions, creating soft, effortless transformations that feel perfectly tailored to each guest. She’s known for her ability to make people feel heard, seen, and genuinely cared for, and her calming presence makes every appointment feel like self-care.

With nearly 30 years in the industry, Suzanne is a true professional who’s seen and styled it all. Originally from Connecticut, she’s called Georgia home for the past two decades and was Theory Salon’s very first employee — a core part of the salon’s history and heart since 2017.
Suzanne’s depth of experience and calm confidence make her an instant favorite among clients, especially those looking for beautiful color, men’s cuts, and timeless, easy-to-wear styles. She has a special gift for connecting with her clients, who appreciate her warm personality, honesty, and sense of humor. She’s the kind of stylist who makes you laugh while making you look and feel incredible.
Outside the salon, Suzanne’s nurturing spirit extends to her love of animals — she has chickens, ducks, and an undeniable soft spot for all small creatures. When she’s not behind the chair, you can find her spending time with family, gardening, or enjoying a laugh with friends.
